Afterschool Partial Hospitalization Services

Our After-school Partial Hospitalization Program is located at 1020 East 10th Street.  The program operates after school from 2:30 pm.-5:30 p.m..   

The program provides after school mental health services for children from 5 to 14 years of age. The program is designed to provide help to children who have not responded well to traditional outpatient therapy or who are transitioning from a more restrictive  mental health setting, e.g., residential  treatment, inpatient hospitalization, or alternative education placement. 
 
All clients in the Afterschool Partial Hospitalization Program are part of a structured, therapeutic classroom environment.  The program is based on the philosophy that all children have the potential to succeed. While some children have little or no trouble adjusting/learning in a traditional school setting, others may experience difficulties that make learning and personal adjustment hard for them. 

Our goal is to help children who experience such difficulties develop the skills necessary for greater success at home, school, and in the community. Children participate in a variety of activities including art, recreation, community outings, academic/homework support as well as pro social skill learning activities
