The mission of the Sarah A. Reed’s Children’s Center is to promote the emotional well-being of children and families, helping them to realize their potential and experience success.
Sarah A. Reed Children's Center will be known throughout the state of Pennsylvania as a model agency and premier provider of children's mental health services. As a teaching/learning organization and applied research and training institute, we will be recognized for our expertise and commitment to quality. We will be known as innovative and dynamic, and a leader in the utilization of research-based, best practice models of treatment and interventions in children's mental health.
Promote deep awareness of each client and their family’s personal story of what brings them to Sarah A. Reed Children’s Center-their histories, their current life circumstances, their struggles, their concerns, and their needs, etc.
Physical and emotional safety is fundamental, and absolutely essential to creating and maintaining an environment conducive to healing and treatment.
As Sarah A. Reed Children's Center employees we actively attempt to learn about, understand and provide culturally competent services to the people we serve.
